Moonturn is a habit tracker for shift work. It is built so that your information stays on your iPhone. This page explains what that means for the app and for this website.
The app
No account. You don't sign up, and Moonturn doesn't ask for your name, email address or phone number.
What you enter stays on your device. Your shift pattern, shift times, goals, logs and settings are stored on your iPhone. They are not sent to us or to any server we run, and we can't see them.
No tracking and no analytics. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking tools. We don't sell or share data, because we don't have any.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, reminders are created and shown on your iPhone. They are not sent through our servers.
Purchases. Payment for the app is handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details, only the confirmation from Apple that your purchase is valid.
Backups. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, Apple's backup can include Moonturn's data. That is controlled by your device settings and Apple's privacy terms, not by us.
Deleting your data. Deleting the app from your iPhone deletes the data it stores on the device.
This website
This site has no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and it loads no third-party fonts or scripts. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes technical data such as your IP address to serve the pages and protect them from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you write to support@moonturn.app, we receive your email address and what you send us. We use it only to answer you and don't share it.
Children
Moonturn is a tool for people who work shifts and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children either.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If we ever add something that collects data, such as analytics or sync, we will update this policy before the change reaches the app.
Questions and your rights
Since we hold no personal data about you in the app, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. For questions about this policy, or to ask about data you've sent us by email, write to support@moonturn.app.
